Savotta Evenings
In an authentic lumberjack environment at Laanila Savottakahvila / museum. The audience will participate in the event in groups. During the evening, the groups will compete for superiority in the lumberjack skill competition e.g. In windfall, "night orienteering", quiz, lasso throwing, etc. A lumberjack sings and hosts a singalong of Lapland and Savotta-themed songs. Between the competitions and the singing, the hostess tells the stories of Lapland's legends and Nätti-Jussi. At the end of the evening, there will be group dancing accompanied by playwrights. Duration about 3h. Dining, e.g. sautéed reindeer with side dishes or traditional savotta food.
